Founder Legal Boot Camp

The TRACES transfer centre at the University of Stuttgart is hosting the Founder Legal Boot Camp on 21 and 22 February 2025 together with Orrick in Germany, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), the TUM Venture Labs Heilbronn and in cooperation with RWTH Innovation and the WHU Entrepreneurship Center.
The two-day seminar offers (prospective) founders and those interested in founding a company a comprehensive and in-depth insight into the most important legal aspects of founding a technology company.
Topics such as corporate structure, financing (including term sheets), employee participation, data protection, tax issues and the legal basis for AI business models and spin-offs from universities are the focus. The experienced lawyers from Orrick will share practical knowledge and show how pitfalls can be avoided.
The seminar will take place both on site at the Vaihingen campus of the University of Stuttgart and online via Zoom and is free of charge.
