With Curt Michael Stoll, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board at FESTO, and Dr Helmut Schelling, founder of Vector Informatik, Gründermotor GmbH has two new shareholders from the Baden-Württemberg business community.
They are not traditional investors with expectations of returns. At Gründermotor, profits are not distributed, but must be reinvested in the company's purpose - as stipulated in our articles of association. In addition, the shares cannot be sold at a profit, which is also prohibited by the articles of association. Due to these characteristics, we feel that we belong to the Economy for the Common Good.
This purpose is stated verbatim in our articles of association: "The purpose of the company is to establish an innovation platform for networking start-ups, established companies and scientific institutions, in particular through learning and networking events as well as services in the field of innovation and transfer."
The question therefore arises as to what advantages it has for Gründermotor GmbH to appoint shareholders. Gründermotor benefits from the entrepreneurial experience that the two shareholders bring to Gründermotor GmbH. In addition, both shareholders are committed to ensuring that the common good model described above in our articles of association is adhered to.
"Politics, business and science are pulling together to ensure that strong global market leaders continue to come from Baden-Württemberg in the future" is how Dr Helmut Schelling summarises our joint mission. Curt Michael Stoll is particularly interested in strengthening and establishing the new generation of medium-sized companies in Baden-Württemberg: "With Gründermotor, we are working to get the next generation of SMEs off the ground. As a co-partner of the initiative, I am delighted to be making a contribution to the successful transformation of the country".
We warmly welcome Curt Michael and Helmut as new partners of Gründermotor GmbH and look forward to a great co-operation!
